Raising the Bar :: 2011 ADDY Awards
Anyone who has entered the ADDY® Awards knows that the competition can be fierce. If there has been any consolation, it’s been that the players are familiar and most know the quality to expect. Well… NOT SO FAST! While the heavy hitters, and returning champs, have entered this year’s competition and are sure to bring their A-game, there are several new challengers who may knock it out of the park. Names like Machete, Backyard Studios and Wasabi Creative have, until now, flown under the ADDY radar and we can’t wait to see how they shake things up. Have you entered yet? There is still time. Late entries are due this Friday, December 17.
Is the new boss same as the old boss? See the show on February 26 at the J.W. Marriott and find out!

Over 500 professional and student entries were received this year and will be judged on January 8 at the Fine Silver Building. A casual meet and greet on January 7 at C4 Workspace will give the local creative community a chance to get to know our judges: Tony Sharpe, SVP Group Creative Director at Draft FCB (Chicago); Courtney Smith, Chief Creative Officer at Pure Matter (San Jose) and Ivan Calle, Creative Director at Zubi Advertising (Miami). Stop by and give our guests a warm San Antonio welcome; hope to see you there.
