The continuous demand for innovation and technology has created an era of “digital design” in the advertising industry – and nobody knows that better than creatives. Contemporary advertising is engulfed in Photoshop, digital illustrations and vector graphics.
A comeback is in resurgence however, where the “hand-crafted” arts offer an elevated status of culture and exclusivity. Those who have withstood the change of tides – the digital rebels – know that through passion and practice, they can still create appealing, disruptive, and persuasive messaging. The craft that was once seen as a thing of the past, is back… and consumers are loving it!
The American Advertising Federation of San Antonio invites you to a panel discussion with artist Robert Tatum, illustrator Len Hernandez and photographer Liz Garza Williams. These artistes will share with us their crafts and their views of the art landscape today, and for years to come.
